Samford University releases dean's lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Approximately 1,940 students have made the Spring Semester 2016 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announce the names of some 1,800 students who achieved Dean's List honors for spring 2016.

The following students have been named to the Spring 2016 Dean's Honor Roll at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. To be eligible for the Dean's Honor Roll, a student must complete 6-11 credit hours with at least a 3.5 grade point average.. Students earning recognition for the Dean's Honor Roll are:

Established through the generosity of The Coca-Cola Foundation in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young, the Dean's Fellowship is awarded annually to an outstanding student or students pursuing a doctoral degree in the Andrew Young School. Each fellowship provides support for a period of three years of doctoral study.

The following students completed courses with exemplary marks and made the 2016 spring President's List at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Each year, the Georgia State University Honors College awards a variety of scholarships to current students. This year, the Honors College awarded scholarships to sixteen exemplary students.

"Twelfth Night," a classic Shakespearean comedy centered around love and mistaken identities, is one of the University's Theatre and Performance program's four mainstage productions of the 2015-2016 season that gets full funding, technical and design support.

More than 120 undergraduate students presented their research at the Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) on Wednesday, April 13. Students from a wide variety of disciplines shared their findings through oral presentations, posters, artistic displays and performances.

Noa Erlitzki, an Honors College junior, earned honorable mention for the Goldwater Scholarship, marking the first time that Georgia State has had two students recognized by the Goldwater Foundation in the same year.

Georgia Southern University recently recognized more than 2,800 students for excellence in academics on the Fall 2015 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

To be eligible for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

At the Eighth Annual Scholarship Donor and Recipient Luncheon, 151 Georgia State Law students and their donors were recognized for their hard work and commitment to legal education.
